The NEW “Normal” a new beginning ...
As “Pause” New York State moves into the different stages of reopening, we continue to talk
with you, our community friends and leaders of the various changes and choices the business owners
of Hadley and surrounding areas are having to make. Locally owned businesses do not make up our
main streets in Hadley. They make up our communities, our neighborhoods, and are a vital part of our
economy. It is NOW, more important than ever to SUPPORT LOCAL and BUY LOCAL to maintain
our hometown business pillars we must stand ‘STRONGER TOGETHER’ .
* Wilder’s Sugar Shack, 4088 Rockwell Street, Hadley
The maple trees were tapped, the sap collected and boiled to produce Pure Adirondack MAPLE
SYRUP ‘made in the wild’ for those with discerning taste. We sell NY Grade A Maple Syrup with
delicate, rich, and robust taste. When you need syrup for your pancakes, ice cream or a coffee
sweetener call Ernie or Sue at 518-696-4947 to place an order. They will leave your order on the door
step for pick-up, just put your money in an envelope and slide it under the door. That’s their way of
practicing social distancing to keep us all safe.

Library, Main St, Lake Luzerne we are continuing to expand our online resources to meet the
needs of our community. Our doors may be temporarily closed to the public; however, we are
still taking reference questions via email and phone and are happy to assist. At https://hadluzblog.sals.edu/ you’ll find links to an extensive list of e-content to include ebooks, audio books, children’s learning and entertainment. You are welcome to come sit on our front porch, driveway area, or (now that the weather is thankfully warming) bring a lawn chair and enjoy a beautiful view of our back garden and the Hudson River.
